Give me the vin# and I can tell you the year of your sled. The secondary clutch off of an 84 phazer should work but, the primary offset would certainly be different ? The oil pump is on the back right hand side of the engines gear case assembly under neath the radiator and oil tank.

ok well ill work on getting the vin#. it looks as though the oil pump has been removed i see where it was. so what premix ratio should i run? i usually run a 50:1 in my two strokes or 40:1 what would be best?

So what are some alternative primary clutches that i can use on this sled. i dont have all the parts for the one that is on it. so i am just looking at what i can put on there so that i can get this thing going on the snow to start out with. hopeing to do more to it later.

I bought a vmax parts sled that had a polaris p-85 primary on it you should maybe see if u could score one off of a indy 500 or maybe an xlt i would measure the inside dia. of the back of your primary withh a micrometer and make a note of it when you go to get a clutch .(snowmobile bone yard). i can let ya know what spring and weights are in that clutch if ya want. id sell ya the clutch but it has a cracked sheave.

another thing if i put an xlt primary clutch on can i put the secondary clutch on as well? will it match up/fit. cuz i know that the belt sizes are different so the stock secondary wont work with an xlt primary will it?
