I read a while back in this forum section about a couple of guys criss crossing their carbs when re-installing. Ive asked guys I know that have snowmobiled for years if there is such thing as a left and right carb, they claim no, a 38mm carb is a 38mm carb.
But I agree with the VVM guys, my carbs do indicate a left and a right carb, why would it make a difference?

Some times the carbs are jetted slightly differant from one side to the other. This may be one reason. Although I don't think the Vmax is. It's more common on triples.

The power jet and power air jet sizes are one size different. Otherwise they are the same.
Where are the carbs marked? I have never seen any markings on my carbs.
