Up for auction is a 1984 Yamaha Vmax 540. It needs some TLC, but has alot of potential. It has 147 pounds of compression on each cylinder (I checked it with two different gauges). It has very strong spark. I had it running a little bit but didn't want to run it long as the oil injection needs to be adjusted. The carbs need to be cleaned and it needs fresh gas. The seat is ripped and needs to be recovered. The hood is cracked by the left strut tower and at the left hood hinge. The track is studded but many of them are completely ripped out. The skis are in good condition and have the two piece rubber tips on them. It has a newer looking Comet 108exp clutch on it. Also Includes a Vmax service manual. I am selling it because I have 11 snowmobiles and I have to get rid of some of them. The guy I got it from could not find the title so He wrote me a Bill of sale which I will do also. I found the Illinois title in the rear compartment but it has not been signed. I will ship it if you set it up and pay for it, I will not crate it. Thank You for looking and good luck bidding.
