Carbs??
Hey Guys the carbs i have on this 88v-max arent stock i dont think. I think they say J-7 or something and theres an air line that goes from one to the other but i took it off like the ones are on the v-max PJ carbs. Im thinking this is the reason im getting a bogg-miss through the midrange because of this and the clutch is sticking and needs to be thrown in the garbage its a 108.

Re: Carbs??
Chris, sounds like the primer circut used by SkiDoo and a few others. If its behind the slide, plug them is you disconect, or simply run a line from one side to the other. Make sure it can't fall off.
The clutch could be off anything, often JD or AC had their names on the cover but not always. Could also just be a different Comet, they used several different pullers over the years..
Look it over good, might just be dirt built up on the bushings surfaces, maybe the small bushing on a arm got beat out. It can be set up like any of the others, uses the same parts
