Tony. Please Can u find me the timing spec and the full shift out rpm for the the 500 motor I am going to run it in two weeks and do u know what rpm to set the timing at I can't find it in any manual thanks Kenny .

1. full shift speed is 8800 plus or minus 200
2. timing spec is 1.6 MM . set timing at 3500 rpm

Thanks that is what I needed. Yes the srx 500. We have been playing with the timing on the 440 seem to really help . No burn down and she hooking up hard in the 660 foot I finely shut up my arctic cat buddy. I hope to pull a few MPH in the 1320 .

Just had a exorcism proformed on the 81 and i got a new 100 lb driver hope she hold together for one more race .

Well the old 81 srx know holds the vintage record at nbssr at 93.9. MPH in 1320 feet we are shooting for 101 next year thanks to all who help me out off this great site.

WOW GUYS I LOVE MY 84 NEVER HAS GAVE ME ANY PROBLEMS AND ME AND TONY HAVE TALKED ABOUT THIS ON FACEBOOK AND YES THE AIRBOXS ARE A PAIN IN THE DICK TOO GET OUT CAUSE I ALSO HAD A 81 I HAD TO TAKE THE MOTOR OUT OF AND REBUILD BUT RAN GOOD WHEN I WAS DONE I PUT SLIDE THROAT CARBS ON IT SO I DIDNT HAVE TOO TUNE IT EVERY SECOND I ROAD IT VMAXKID 2013 YAMILOVE
