8M6 belts and more

Post by opsled »

Two new 8M6 belts $40 plus shipping. I have 13 belts left. I am willing to part with 8 of them. I also have an NOS 8U9 stationary shive for the Yamaha Comet 102 that was used on the Vmax-540. $50 plus shipping. I have about ten? or so parts sleds in the barn. 81-87 (no 82). I need to go through this stuff nd get rid of what I won't use.

Ok, Anyone that wants belts needs to send me your address so I can calculate shipping. USPS will probably be cheapest for both US and Canada.

I tried to look up the list price on these but every website I tried says they are no longer available. If that's the case the supply of these belts will dry up and aftermarcket will be the only choice. The last new one I bought from a dealer was 10+ years ago. Seems to me that they were over $40 a piece then so $40 for a pair is a good deal.

I though I had pics of the belts in my computer. Can't find them. Here is the shive.

I have an 87 in the barn but it's real rough. I saw a nice one this fall for sale but don't have the guys #.
