I am looking for some set up specs for Aaen pipes for the Vmax 540, I am thinking of a project and would like to give them a try. If anyone has some could you please let me know, or drop me a PM. Thanks Jeff..

I tried looking in my old Dyno Tech sheets for jetting notes but found none. It did show the Aaen pipes to be about 3 HP short or stock pipes, PSI pipes were about 2 HP less at peak.
Stock pipes peaked at 8000, held it to 8300. Both Aaen and PSI peaked at 8500. Stock pipes held a 5 hp gain all the way up from 6500
You can see Dyno Tech did set up the jetting for each pipe from the BSFC numbers, but they did say what they used.

I still see Olav at the USSA races, his shop is still open the number is 262 552 8981 or 262 552 9410

Unless your getting the pipes for free, don't bother. I put a set on my 84 back in the day, they sucked. They sound good thou...lol...
