The sheeve bushing is replaceable along with the plastic buttons and can be bought from Yamaha or many aftermarket like Dennis Kirk, JR Graham ect.

I found a nice surprise when I took the secondary off - someone installed a engine torque stabilizer bar.

Also noticed the shaft collar is painted blue- anybody have an idea why?

I bought one off of Riechards that also, mounted behind the engine but was bolted thru the side of the frame same as the jackshaft bearing.

IT LIVES!

I got the brand new primary clutch and used secondary clutches installed and fired her up. I had to fiddle with the idle but she seems to be ready to go. The snow is gone but now I have all summer to repaint the hood and fix some other things. I already have a new seat cover and windshield so it's coming together nicely.
