mid range bogg/miss..
The 88 vmax i bought starts/ runs great but once i get to mid range it blogs and misses. If i pump the throttle and get it to top end it clears out and runs great but in 2 feet of snow this thing runs about 60-70mph. A little scary lol but it runs crappy in the mid range. What do you guys think??

I would be looking at the clutches first, something hanging up in the pri. or it could also be in the sec. clutch. I would go threw both to make sure everything is right and free.
Also could be something in the carb, check the needle and see where its at.

Re: mid range bogg/miss..
On most of my old sleds. One thing I allways do is remove the secondary clutch. Have it taken apart and cleaned. And replace any worn parts. Same goes for the primary. If it's not shifting corecctly. Bogging can happen. A clutch or clutches that are not shifting properly will put incorect load on the motor at the wrong time. Just like a clutch with the wrong spring or weights would do.
