comet clutches: out of business????

Post by Vmxhunter »

I was placing an order over the phone last night with Dennis Kirk. Was going to order a can of that comet clutch spay lube for my clutches. The lady told me that they no longer carry it. Because Comet went out of business....(not sure if that goes for the clutches and parts they also carried).

Is this true????? Has anybody else seen this??? Was I just under a rock someplace when this news came out???? This was the first I heard of this.

Well, I lived threw the Drag racing world and the impending doom coming from lack of OEM performance parts. I learned we will live threw it and we won't go with out parts.........

We will pay much more for them

I heard Certified Parts out of Janesville bought most of the Comet stuff, I know other people that were looking at it.
What I haven't heard is what CP will do with it.
