Wiseco Rings w/ OEM piston

Post by ThePipe »

Yes? No?
I ran a few Dirt Bikes like that when I was a kid in the 80s and never had probs but I really don't feel like messing up my sled with trial and error.
Thank You

IDK, I have never looked at them side by side.
In the kart world some Wisco pistons are of a different design then OEM. You could measure and inspect for things like a champher design

not sure if they're the same or not, but my 350x honda had a high comp. wiseco piston in it, when i rebuilt it me uncle gave me a new set of oem rings and the were to thick.

but it was a 4 stroke three wheeler so it may be different with a sled

Do not know But, I can look at them both when I get home from work today. We have used the Kimpex rings on O.E.M. pistons in Tylers 540. ie. from my Inventory/Parts List
