the fitting that i need to find/ make has to have the right threads and also when the threads tighten up it needs to press the sensor tight onto a lip that seals it up....

Mine had a rubber O ring their, it was chewed up pretty good, left it off and it sealed anyway, I did use Teflon tape on the threads
I just spent 2 hrs chassin the no brake light,. turns out it was two problems, switch on the lever didn't work, took it apart and cleaned the corrosion. Second was the contacts were two far in on the bulb socket. If someone answers about the 100 W bulb, I'll order the tail light LED. Just hate to spend $28 on a headlight if it going to be dim anyway

im considering this solution... http://www.slp.cc/catalog.cfm?pageID=de ... ductID=512
but im not sure about the "It is compatible with any 1/8" pipe water temp sensor with maximum nose length of 1/2"." part... pretty expensive for all the more it is but if the senser would screw in and seal up it would be just the ticket

Its a cool sight and they are only hardcore racing stuff, no junk
I seem to last, oh, about 30 seconds doing searches and end up chasing different pages until I forgot what I was looking for.
