Well its been apart for a year, I won't bring up that my memory isn't what it was when I was 20, or 30, or 40, or 50
So its almost together two things I'm stuck on, both hose hook ups.
First under the intakes, lower water hose, right next to the big one is a 1/4 or 3/8 nipple for a hose, I'm out of hose. What goes there?
Second is a very small nipple on the mag housing next to cyl, looks like 1/8 or whatever the metric eq. is. My guess is just a vent but not sure.
Thats all thats keeping me from starting it
Help, I'm lost

the first hose you speak of is for the temp guage... it runs from the bottom to the head... should be a piece of hose with a plastic fitting in the middle... in that fitting is where the temp guage prob goes.....
and the second fitting is just a vent like you guessed... i put a 6'' or so hose on mine just so hopefully nothing gets in it....

My airbox is held on by one screw, not because Im lazy but because it is less weight!

OK got it, and its pretty embarassing, I'm am idiot
I guess, when I took the thing apart last year, theres a hole, about 1/2 up in the plastic by the bars. I must have shoved the hose in there to keep it out of the way.
The other end reached and lined up well with the other nipple up on the top. I looked at that hose and thought it went back to the heat exchangers, maybe for the air to raise up to. Anyway when Tyler told me the hose went to the bottom, I was pulling and twisting trying to get it down there, and the end poped out of the plastic.
You guys learn from this, your never to old to look stupid.
Now I have to remember to put oil in the gas
