1980 Yamaha SS540??

yes that is a "red dot" on the oil pump... it has been updated your good to go on that
Yeah, the pics load wierd for me too sometimes.. Oh well. :)

wow my english is worse than some of the non english speaking people we have here from time to time.... oh well you get the point
My airbox is held on by one screw, not because Im lazy but because it is less weight!

i just use 2 stroke oil of good quality and keep it topped up regularly, there was antifreeze in the case when i took it apart from the leaking water pump seal. it was milky brown colour.

Ohhh, so that's why the water pump seal is such a big issue- oil contamination! Now I'm beginning to understand how this thing works... Thanks! :)
