Had the vmax 540 out a couple of weeks ago the thing was smoking. We ran 99.9 mph in 1320' and 96.2 in 1000" ice was fairly good but we had about a 5mph head win.

Keep them flying!!!

540 Mods

The sled has the standard mods:
- updated porting
- muffler removed and small cans on each pipe
- 270 main jets
- YVXC Primary
-VDO Tach

Carbs

Chuck, I'm even running those carbs you sent me a couple years back. With the air box gutted. I'm going to run filters next summer on the grass. I use them on the Vmax-4 and they reall keep the dirt out.
