Differeces at 83 vmax 540

I have study many pictures of 83 vmax, i live in Norway. Some has a rubberbutton as a stop button, and some hav a plastic. I did also look in my 83 yamaha dealer brogure that the picture of that 83 vmax had the same rear suspension as the ss 440 and srx 500. Where there changes in the production, because i have seen most have the srv suspension.

When i think about it, i wonder "are there more differeces at this years vmax 540"?

Can anybody try to explain that to me. Can post a picture later, from the 83 yamaha dealer catalog from norway, when get a better internet line.

it seems there where a lot of pre production pictures taken of the 83 as far as suspension goes i really dont know but we had a bit of a discussion about the kill switch earlier this year ill post the link here in a second....
