Yamaha Phazer tunnel numbers
I just picked up a yamaha phazer for dirt cheap for parts and the kid i bought it from didnt have an ownership not a big deal i can get one if i need one. The question i have is the numbers on the tunnel start with 82L nowgoing by the vmax numbering scheme i,m gonna make a guess at 1987 for the year of the phazer! Does anyone know. I must say this is a sweet little sled for a fan cooled, I had never driven one until this past weekend and i was shocked as to the amount of power. I guess REED VALVES really do work lol. Anybody have any sugestions as to the year. Thanks Jeff

1987 sounds good to me! Years ago i remember this pink Phazer that use to drag race and however he set that sled up noone could catch him in 660 ft. I,m not touching this one though i,m gonna keep it stock and just drive it . Thanks Chuck i think we found us a year for the phazer!!!!
