nozzles

Post by srxvmax50 »

Hey gang!, A question: Yamahas '84 ownerbook states the oem carb nozzle as a 166 Q-0. Thats 166-Q-0. My later teardowns from 86 and 87 each have nozzles 480-Q-0's. 480-Q-0. I guess I need to mic. mine, but kan you tell me if there is any flow difference between to the two, and if so, why did Yam make this change , and what calibration do we go with on my stock Vmax from '86-87? PS: It's cause I am no longer TORS, nor Autolube injection. Why? Because thats the way I want it. So what do you guys know? Pleese tell me. Thankyou verrry much. MJD.
