Gear case complete with seals/pump shaft needed

Post by flatsix »

Looking for a complete pump gear case for my 83 vmax--mine has a bad seal on the impeller(leaks coolant into the case), can't find a replacement. Would prefer one from an 84 or newer so I don't have to deal with the same problem again. Would like complete with all seals, bearings, pump shaft, etc.

Here's what I am looking for:

Are any of these the the part # you need?

If so they all show available here: http://www.stadiumyamaha.com/pages/part ... fault.aspx

Also a good place to find part #'s here: http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/myyam ... there.aspx

No, unfortunately the one I need is unavailable from Yamaha, and I have not been able to locate a suitable replacement through local bearing/seal dealers. Thanks for trying though!

Part I need the MOST, the oil seal: p/n 93103-25133-00 --this is the one that is no longer available.

I also need a new bearing, p/n 93316-00101-00 .....these I think are still available, but I have not ordered one yet since the seal appears to be hopeless.

It looks like this place might still have one.
I would call them to make sure.

Yamaha changed the part # to 93103-25146, have you tried that one?

That part number is for a 84 or newer, which I believe has a different design gearcase. Can anyone confirm this?
