'83 for sale

Post by Max83 »

I am looking to sell my '83 Vmax project. I purchased the sled to restore, but won't get to it. The motor has 120 lbs. of comp. each side, and has spark. The carbs were really nasty, so I purchased another set. I took the handlebars, tank cover, and airbox off to pull the carbs and replace fuel lines and I noticed the jackshaft bearing is shot. So this sled will need that bearing and new lines for sure, and be reassembled. The hood is not to bad and the side panels are decent. Seat is rough, and track looks usable. With a little work someone could make this a nice sled. $350. Must pick up.

Does the hood have any cracks in the fiberglass or is it just scratched.

If you have more pictures to post that would be very helpful. (or e-mail)

Thanks.............jipcee............. jpnofear@msn.com

The guy I bought it from said he kept it in his barn. The hood is very shiny so I would tend to believe it.
