That is a YPZ or Phazer clutch . It may have come off a 81 SRX but didn't come from the factory with it on it ....Like my daddy used to say "At that point in time it was just a dream"

Everyone is allowed and opinion and can list and sell items for whatever they are worth. I prefer to not tell someone that they are way out of line. Usually not selling something for an asking price is a good indication.
Regarding the 8M6 mark on the clutch. This would be a hard clutch to find because all the 81's had recalls on the clutches and Comet 102's were the install replacement. If the original owner did not take his sled in for the recall you have a hard to find clutch. But with that said, the clutch is visually no different than a standard Yamaha YPZ and it is actually quite dangerous. People had this clutch literally blow up and blow through their hoods at high RPM. Not many people will want this clutch for their restoration based on it being dangerous not to mention not performing like a 102.
Ok

I thought it would be a good buy for someone i didnt even reply to the loser that posted the phazer clutch as I do not deal with un-educated people. Id be willing to get rid of the clutch for a lesser value as i need money to restore my 81 srx.

You are right ,and I agree, anyone can sell something for what ever they want or can get !! My point is the Ebay picture of the 81 SRX clutch for $35.00 is not a 81 clutch . The 81 came with a YP type clutch like Yamaha used on other sled in that time frame ,and the one on ebay is a YPZ type clutch that was used for the first time on the new 1984 Phazer ,they look nothing alike . The one you have that is marked 8M6 must of come off a 81 but I bet it looks nothing like the YPZ clutch .
