need engine for 1987 vmax

we need a engine for our vmax she blew up a few years ago and dads buddy always did our work for us on her and he tragically passed away and most of the engine was left in his garage and before we could get to it to get the parts we had down there the family threw every thing away that they thought was junk. also looking for a 548 skidoo engine that we could possibly put in her. wher in central ohio so any help would be great
