I need to rebuild my clutch and need to know what to look for and replace. My local dealer told me the old vmaxes were notorious for destroying clutches any help would greatly be appreciated. I've worked on and rebuilt atvs and dirtbikes for years just not familiar with snowmobile clutches. thanks.

What clutch is on it now? it takes special tools to take clutches apart, if you dont have them it will take some $$$ to get them,for a one time use,maybe you might be better to buy a new replacement 108 exp from comet but you will have to use a differant spring.
