Hello!
Im new at this forum ,and i just bought a SRX 500-82.Its all matching numbers considering chassie and engine,and has all the originalpaint and decals.
My question is:
The "throttleadjuster" at the handlebar(dont now tthe right word in english) is not oem.
Its a "turn/twist" leverer from Tomaselli with two throttlecables going in to it.

Would be grateful for perhaps a picture of how it should look on the original part,and perhaps it is the same on any other Yamaha model,so i can find the real part oem.

I shall try to get a picture of my machine to this forum!

Welcome to V.V., An 1982 500 Wow what a find ! Interesting that it had a twist throttle maybe it was used for racing ? I would think the original throttle assembly would Possibly be the same as a 1981 SRX that had the butterfly carbs and not the 1983 on up Vmax's that had Roundslides ? Jon B will know ! Please, Please post some pictures and send me the Vin# !
