1987 Yamaha V-Max 540: New MSRP was $5,499.....Adjusted for inflation is $10,029.44
2008 Ski Doo MXZ 500 SS Trail: New MSRP $7,099
This was as close as an "apples to apples" comparison that I could think of. Sort of puts sled prices in perspective.
