Cole, Wow that is a long time to sit...... I'll bet the Carbs are still plugged somewhere. Did you make sure the pilot jets and their tiny passageways leading up to the front bottom of the carbs are open ? Did you take the jets out of the bottom of the float bowls and clean both them and the holes they screw into ? Cases such as these require disassembly of all carb parts all brass, including jets, inlet needle and seat, then soak and clean with cleaner, compressed air and I use a small set of pipe cleaners for the small holes. Alot of time if in doubt I replace the jets especially since anything that is pitted and has lost it's smoothness Will corode easier in the future !

When it idles up to 3500, lift the choke lever for 1 second (no more) after 1 second put the choke back to normal position and see if it brings the idle back to normal.
If the idle comes down to normal it usually means the pilot jets are too lean or are clogged.
Like vmax540 said they are probably still dirty.
