Back in the day...... before sleds were titled, if a snowmobile was sold as a leftover the registration would show the year purchased and not the model year. If at the time titles became mandatory or if a new owner filled out the wrong year when registering it would never be caught. If you read the engine or right side of tunnel and it's 8U9 then its a 1983 model !
