I have an '84 440cc sled and the problem I have is that it is harder to start at above or around 5000'. it starts with 1 pull at sealevel. Not sure if this is altitude related or the fact that it was much colder at that height. could this be the jetting? Any insight is much appreciated. when up at or above 5000', it takes about ten pulls to start with throttle pinned and then runs fine once started.. thanks

Nate regardless of Temperature any sled will run richer as you go up in altitude because of less oxygen ! There should be a jetting chart for Temp and Altitude for your sled in the owners manual, on the underside of shroud or on the drive belt guard.

yes it does, I will look into that chart. but it doesnt say what to adjust.. thanks
