Hi. Rebuilding a 86 540. Standard bore, Steel sleeved with Wiseco piston's & CD ring's. I gapped the ring's at 0.012. Am I good to go or should I open them up to 0.014? Thank's.

Started last weekend for break-in. Starving for fuel. Forgot to replace fuel line's in tank from fitting's to filter. Replaced & Ran it like I stole it for 3 mile's. Run's great. No leak's. Alot of snow coming Saturday night. Time to RIDE!
