here are some pictures of one of my 1981 srx all finished up and restored from top to bottom had everything powder coated alot of welding work had to be done to the frame also had to fix some of the welds that it had from before and then polished all the alluimenum parts tunnel cylinders ports both clutches suspension rails many more parts replaced all fuel lines few more parts sanded down fiberglass parts like under hood then clear coated it so it keep dirt away and from sticking and then side pods you know were the belly pan is side pods is what i call them sanded them down to they were mint clean then clear coated them aswell to a super nice finish also all new exhaust springs new carbide. here are some pics hope you all enjoy. next summer i will be doing the same thing to my other srx. and also will be getting the side pannels powder coated with new decals.

any paticular reason your running vmax pipes on it? or do you have a 540 engine in it?

Looks very, very nice, wish my chassis was that clean

New Carbides, You're not going to actually ride it are you...... it belongs in a museum or glass show case..... Wow ! ! !

thanks you and yes i do have the 540 in it. the reason for that is because due to the 440 motor failing which the motor on the bench just finished rebuliding it with new water pump. if this one ever blows up probaly put the stock back into it. the motor in it now has the 82 srx 500 bottum end with 540 top end.

thanks bob took along time to get the sled looking like it is now this sled was in a wreckers wrecked and we did everything to save her huge differnce from what it looked like back then to now.

i wish i could say i wasnt going to i wish i wasnt but we bring the sleds up north and i agree with you it should not be ridden at all and i agree it belongs in a showroom.
