I just bought an 81 SRX seat and the "Yamaha" is stenciled differently than all other SRX seats that I have seen. This seems to be an original seat cover and also the "Yamaha" seems to be of a silver color and not white and is stenciled on a blocked out black rectangle. I bought a brand new SRX seat cover in 1990 and the "Yamaha" is stenciled in white. Does anyone know if this is a preproduction cover, early cover or aftermarket cover. It looks old and original. Thanks

I have (2) 81 srx's, one of them has the silver lettering one has the white lettering, both are original seat covers. I also have a brand new in the package NOS yamaha seat cover, it has the silver lettering. They changed somewhere along the lines in the same year, either one is correct.
