looking for the plastic tip protectors on the skis for my 83 vmax any help?

loops or the ski tips?, as theres 2 differnt pcs for the same ski.

I have some extra loop ones and a pair of new NOS ones for the tip but they are not the 83 tip ones, they are for the later ones. The 83 tips ones are the same as the 81 srx440, same 8m6 ski(skinny)

i need the loop ones that wrap around the bar and the flat ones that go underneath and attaches to the loop one.both are black plastic

send me a pic of what you have and a price so i can see if that is what i need.

heres what I got, the brand new yamaha ski tip protectors are from a little later vmax540-84-85?. The ski loop handles are the same on them all, they are used but in decent useable shape.

I found this on ebay for you , he has 2 brand new ones, cheap too!

Are the 83 V-Max ski tip protectors still for sale???

I have both the loop and the ski tip protectors still.

the ski tip protectors(84-85 vmax) are new yamaha ones in the bag yet-$25pr shipped to your door

the loop protectors are used ones but still in good shpe, they are not new but used but in useable shape-$25 pr shipped to your door

the loop ones are not available from yamaha anymore, the ski tip ones are still current and cost $15.37 each,plus tax/shipping.

My loop protectors are just fine what I really need are the ski tip protectors for an 83 V-Max which are different than the 84-85 V-Max. If you know anybody that has some 83 ski tip protectors let me know.

they are like the 81 srx ski tips if you have the original narrow skies
