vmax 540 vs. 93 exciter sx

We raced the vmax 540 and exciter sx last night and the SX kinda smoked it. Im gonna get new plugs today and see if that changes anything. No compete off the bottom but will catch up in mid range and on top when the dual pipes kick in...

It competes with it on top sorta depending on the run, the vmax 540 rides like an old skylark but theyre so much damn fun!! Way too much power for that chassis but find a funner ride I challenge you..

1983 Tech (if not actually 1981) vs. 1993 Tech. The Exciter starting in 1987 (and all of them) were setup to be quick corner to corner trail sleds. The Vmax with it's twin pipe/carbs was designed in it's day more for the open area's and higher end speeds .
