hey everybody, i have an 81 srx, and getting an 89 vmax, but im wondering how fast these sleds go? or what you guys have topped them out at? i have a 91 exciter, it has the electric start on it, and a bender racing single pipe, i hit 170 km/h last year on the crispy flat lake in march.

Under ideal conditions any of these sleds are capable of speeds right around that mark.

thats awesome!! how fast have u seen ur sleds going chuck?

i MAY have seen 85 on the speedometer.... but here in NW PA we dont have any lakes where you can wind them out and still be able to look at the speedometer without hitting something... they get there in a hell of hurry tho!

i seen 100 on my 01 srx a few weeks ago... it gets there a little quicker

my dad has an 01 srx 700, up in canada here on the lakes we have seen 120 mph with a big suspension eh!

Your Vmax appears to have a slight wide kit since The strut covers are slightly outside the hood ?

yea, its my buddies, they dont want to sell it now -.- and yea, the people that had it before them cut the frame and used angle iron to widen it
