Want Plastics skis & a wider ski stance ? Find some with a wider saddle like the Yamaha (USI) ones and use spacers to slide out the skis ! I gained 2" with the saddles in these pictures which I think may be used on the 1994-1996 TSS's Vmax's. I know alot of the older Skidoo saddles may be fairly wide.

How does handle ? looks as though you are changing steering geometry by having the skag 1" outside the suspesion centerline , we arent talking ski spreaders on 30-40 mph sleds here , my concern is at the higher speeds these TSS sleds are capable of , just my 2 cents

Good question, while I have not driven it yet I have, driven my 2008 Phazer with both spacers on the outside as most all 2007 up Phazer owners ( search here http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewforum.php?f=54 ) have done and highly reccomend. In my book the improved stability of a wider stance is always welcome.

Never tried it, my guess in a sled with A arms or a trailing arm, as it travels through its movement it moves in an arc. You can run into bump steer issues. With a pogo stick, its still just going up or down
