neep help plzs

hi i have just rebuilt a pop up headlight and get it back together and i push the leaver and it gets stuck halfway if any body can help me with this prob let me know what i can do to fixs this from not happing thanks.

Is it getting stuck on opening or closing ? I always place my hand on the cover when opening as to not allow the cover to slam open and gently push down on the cover
After the lever is pushed down when closing the light. I can get some pictures or you can refer to the OEM parts diagrams

thanks i just fixs it it was the spring i had on it.
