The carbs for the 81 SRX 440 have a holder for the oil pump mechanism are both to be hooked up ?? One to the oil pump and the other??? Also would a basic yamaha throttle cable do for the throttle cables???

i think the 80 srx cable would work as that was pretty much the same setup with the buttrefly carbs and the throttle looks the same. the oil pump cable goes to the front of the left carb although it would probably work on the right that also has a hook up for it.

Thats what I was thinking with the aftermarket distributor on the phone today, they're only $12 a piece but the yamaha dealer told me that all of the cable have differences but I think i would be ok.

chris you might want to see if they can give you a length on the cable it may be shorter good luck
