clutch torque specs needed

Could someone please help me find the correct torque specs for my clutch?
I have a 102c clutch going on a 1994 VMAX 500.
Please help.

My 1986 Yamaha manual says to:
1. Torque to 85 foot pounds to seat the primary clutch on the crankshaft.
2. Loosen the bolt.
3. Torque to 50 foot pounds, the final torque.
The Comet instructions agree with the Yamaha manual.
In my experience,
A. 50 foot pounds is a little too loose. I typically torque to 60.
B. you need to make sure the bolt does not bottom in the hole,
C. you need to make sure the threads are clean, smooth, and lightly greased.
D. you need to make sure the taper is not completely clean and dry because it will rust in place.
The archives will provide some insight into putting anti-sieze on the taper.

yeah i believe the manual says not put anything on the crank but we always put just a thin coat of antiseeze on it.... just a little something to keep it from seizing on there

X2 ! I don't want to count the # of years or the PTO shafts that we have used antiseeze on but, I can say they always come off much easier than the ones without and I have never had a clutch fail to hold.
