SRX 500 primary clutch

Post by chrisrider63 »

Now I know I have an SRX 500 primary clutch for sure. I was looking at my manual for a SRX 500 clutch that I have and its the same thing. I dont have a SRX 500 so i have no use for it but I was wondering what it would be worth as i need money to put together my SRX 440 (cylinders and pistons and carbs) would be willing to trade.

To be a correct SRX500 clutch, the front face should have an Ink Stamp on it reading 8R9. The 500's have different weights and primary spring than the SRV 540 which looks identical. You should remove the weights and confirm they are 8R9 weights and not SRV's.
