Are there just 3 pieces or is there end caps that went on the back part. I have two sides and a rear piece, the rear looks like either someone cut the ends at a 45 deg angle, or maybe there's some end caps I don't have. What I have now leaves the edges exposed

Hey Bob,
Give Al's snowmobile a call. I got one for my 86 three years ago and it was only like $25.00... worth a phone call..

My other yammi is a "81 srv which had a different tunnel. In '83 they switch to what looks to be this style. So my question is are all these the same, VM, SRV, Phazors ect ?

All these rear bumper components on Vmax 540's, 83 and up SRV's and late XLV's carry the same 8M6 "81 SRX" prefix and part #'s in online Yamaha parts books. So the answer is Yes, they can be found on these other models. Phazers were different.
Good Luck,
