was told about a cool trick on how to make a puller,i took my spare clutch bolt cut it square (at 5 inches)deburred the end took a cut off disc and cut a slot in the end for a flat screw driver, with the clutch bolt removed from the motor the cut bolt was srcewed in and bottomed out then i took a 9/16 grade 9 bolt (grade 9 should be used to prevent any mushrooming at the end of the bolt this bolt is 2 in 3/4 long)screwed it in where the puller would go on the end of the clutch(it should bottom out against the cut bolt at about 3/4 of the threads)then hit it with the impact and it poped right off.this could be applied to different clutches but the lenght of the cut bolt and the dia.of the puller bolt and threads would change to fit the clutch.

Good idea ! If you can find a hard bolt and round steel stock that fits you can make a puller to fit any sled !

a softer bolt would work it just probably wouldn't last as long or if the clutch is stubborn it could mushroom a bit.the hole idea is to be bottomed out on the cut bolt then screw in the puller bolt to pull the clutch off.

i used my spare clutch bolt(1/2in fine thread bolt would also work if you don't have a spare as long as it's long enough and cut the head off)to make sure i did not damage any threads on the inside of the crank, your taking a chance with round stock.
