pop up headlight question

hey guys my headlight when down seems to pop up a bit and does not sit flush to the cab it is sitting up about 8th of an inch i think it should sit flush and even with the rest of the cab.it does not look like something is bent in the assembly does anybody the way this should be or if theres a adjustment or if this is noral as i have two cabs and there both like that but one is woarse than the other.thanks johnny onebun

Mine sits nice and flush with the hood.

Sounds to me like the hinge assembly is sprung or loose. Maybe you can shim, adjust or bend the assembly arms to close properly ? You may have to remove it form the hood in order to repair ? I always lay my hand on the cover when opening the head light so, it does not spring up forcefully.
