is it ok to only use one fuel pump as my other one is shot. It seems to work good with it on a stand. Also, the carbs I got for it have the choke plunger like a polairs. The guy I got the carbs from said they were off a 83 v max. My dash had a primer on it. Will the regular chokes work? Thanks for the help and this is a good site. It also has 440 jugs on it but it seems good.
thanks
mark

i assume you have just one outlet on your pump and it is tee'd off from there... i have never actually done this but as long as it is pumping a good amount of gas i guess youll be alright.... MAKE SURE YOU PLUG OFF THE OTHER PULSE LINE AT THE MOTOR IF YOUR NOT GOING TO USE IT!!! you dont want that extra air getting sucked in or else youll be looking for more than a fuel pump

I feed twin 39.5 carbs on a much modified 535 fan (SRV) engine with no problem with a single, dual outlet Mic. pump. But as Tyler said be sure the other pulse line is plugged very well, meaning, not a plastic line that can crack off in a year or so, or a bolt that cant fall out
