track clearance front axle..

Hey everbody, how y'all doin? Now down to business: If our friend here is maybe gonna find trouble with track/ traction aid clearance on the underside of the tunnel up by the front axle, then what you could do is remove the rubber rims from the upper forward idler wheels, which would drop the top of the track down a bit. Not to worry, just champher the edges of the alum. wheels so to duplicate the rounded edges of what was rubber. Done that did that, and no noticeable track wear. So there. MJD

On my last ride, the track made a slight growling sound at speed on the smooth trails.

It changed amplitude with the ups and downs of the bumps on the bumpy trails.

I was wondering if the upper front idler wheels are there to reduce the slap in the bumps.
