Geez, now you had to set me off, heres a copy of my email to that webmaster. I suggest we C& P this to other sled sites. Everyone needs to tell the little bastards the truth

I just read Geo Wuertners article. Amazing that people like him exsist. Does he understand that the only way people will not effect the Earth is to not have people on it, Is he planning a ban on people soon?
I own a boat, several snowmobiles, a motorcycle and a hot rod car. Sorry to say seldom do I get any of them out much, probubley less then 100 miles a year between all of them. It might interest you to know I haven't driven a car in 11 years, my choice, don't own a daily driver. I would bet that makes my damaging footprint much smaller then yours. Quit puting people in groups you don't know.
Clearly you know little other then what you want about snowmobiling. Do you know that the largest users, by fa,r of the snowmobile trails are the animals that live in the woods. They no longer have to trudge threw waist deep ( our waist, not theirs) snow to find food. They now have easy access to where they want to go on their quest for food. Guys like Geo, sit back in their chair, do some resherch, cherry pick the facts they think will further their cause and ignore everything else. Then someone like you publish these ramblings as the truth. I would be embarassed, the "truth" comes from a fair and complete understanding of both sides of an issue, any issue.
Do you understand many towns would cease to exsist if it weren't for the tourists that bring their sleds in the winter and their boats in the summer, not only some people but whole towns depend on it.
Heres where I have a problem with people like Geo. Does he understand our country is again in two wars, no other country will touch? Does he think we will ever pay off the National debt? Does he live in a city where there are far more people then jobs because our leaders have sent all the work to China? Does he live where their little kids , right in this country that don't have food to eat, teenagers that have never went to school, crack heads with guns ruling the streets and old people that die because they can't aford a doctor.
Have the balls to get a real cause George, till then, this smokes for you.
With no respect what so ever, Bob

Good job Bob...... :)

Here are some questions I ask...

#1 Do you recycle your used motor oil ?
#2 Buy recycled products
#3 Participate in community or roadside clean ups ?
#4 Are vocal and point out options to people whom liter or pollute unnecessarily ?
#5 Support and lend a hand to a group who is active in cleaning our streams caused by mining ?
#6 Did you Insulate your home properly ?
#7 Keep your thermostat at 65 in the winter ?
#8 Try to avoid unnecessary trips by stopping to/from work ?
#9 Properly maintain your gas equipment for efficiency ?
#10 Plant trees ?
#11 My favorite pet peeve, Do you and your wife drive fuel efficient cars to work and leave your Sport utility/full sized extended cab F-250/K-2500 parked in the garage until needed for hauling or towing purposes ? These are just a few of the things My wife and I do to be environmentally conscious.
