I bought an OEM windshield from xtremepower sports on line last winter. It had an OEM yamaha part number on it but it was not smoked, it was clear. Why would they do that? I've never seen a Vmax with a clear windshield. Any thoughts?
I'm thinking of just painting the inside of it.

Make sure you clean the insde very well with rubbing alcohol, you do not want any fish eyes in the finish.

When I do painting like this. I normaly use PPG's DX 330. It's a great wax/ grease remover for before painting.
