A revalation

Thats what is wrong with my 83... I'm getting coolant in my gear case. It spews out the breather. What can I do to fix this? The thing runs sweet until the stator gets wet and shorts out the spark.. Any help on this would be huge. This problem has been going on for two seasons now.

Water pump seals. It needs to be fixed and soon before the entire gearcase gets wrecked from the antifreeze if it's not allready.

Thanks for the tip. Can I get to the seals without pulling the motor?. Are the still available through Yamaha?
