Northeast iowa is under a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY :D :D forcast calls for 7-10 inches of the white stuff.Best part is the vmax moves under its own power. Quite nicley i might add.

I fired the vmax today did a fresh top end. It started up good runs fine. My problem is i cant get it to pump oil. Put new lines on everything,fuel oil. Does the pump need to be bled? If so where there is a screw on the right side of the pump does that bleed it or how do i go about it. With it being...

whats the dipstick for on the bottom of the case by the oil tank?Does it need to be changed? Just got done puttin engine together havnt fired it yet the dipstick shows oil where it should be is it a counter balancer or somthing??

i bought one for the 85 model year. Who ever sells em blows up the print on computer then prints it out on a heavy paper. If you look close you can see the pixels at a distance they look good,and it good quality.

As far as i know all cylinders were plated. I have a 85 vmax and just had them re-plated as im sure you know you cant bore plated cylinders. When i had my motor apart i just checked the crank,inspected the bottom end,cleaned the carbs really good,put all new oil and fuel lines on. If i were you i wo...

They missed the forcast big time i guess all we can do is wait for the next big one. Hey Bob i seen pitures of voodoo vmax it looks really good. Do you still do painting? I have a few ideas for my vmax

As i sit here this christmas i look out the window and watch all the snow melt in nortern iowa as we get a downpour. :x On the bright side i get more time to work on my vmax

well the good ol weather man gets paid to lie. In northern iowa we were to get 12-19 inches of snow now they changed it to rain then a wintery mix then snow. Im in northern iowa we have 13in where im at today we are forcasted to get 2in wed thurs fri the weather man says we could get another 12-13 i better get my but in gear and get the motor back together on the 84 vmax !!!!

175 per cylinder the nikel was coming off above intake ports and there was a million tiny pits in each cylinder i have a spare motor but the cylinders are shot in that i looked on ebay but what if i got some the way mine are sometimes you just cant win.

did you find crank seals for yours? im waiting for both cylinders to get replated with nikisel then should be good to go we got 15 in wednesday ithe same storm that hit us hammered you guys was a good one huh

:D I live in northern iowa tonight into monday morning the forcast is for 1-4 inches of snow. Wednesday round two, the forcast is 6+ inches. ive heard up to 12in may be possible. The new sleds are ready however the vmax is awaiting new cylinders.
