Howard, thanks for the update. The most important parts I need right now are the carborators. I have many good parts to trade for the 81 srx and 83-87 Vmaxes. And I can source other parts for brands or models that you may need more than these carbs.

Guys, need some 1981 SRX skis which are the same as the 83 Vmax 540. Need some good used ones or NOS new if you have them. If they have the rubber tips great but not a requirement. Let me know what you have and price.

No the 81's and 82's I had available for sale have been sold. I do know of a person who my consider selling his 82 but it is not cheap.

Have a decent pair of 38mm roundside vmax carbs for sale. Need a cleaning but appear to be pretty nice. Come with throttle cable and choke but choke lever is broke off. $50 + $15 for shipping
