HELP HELP - ADVICE NEEDED

Carbs on my 86 are constantly flooding out. Research has led me to float needle problems. Will these fit? I need some ASAP. Or if anyone has some decent carbs, I wouldn't mind replacing everything all together. http://cgi.ebay.com/YAMAHA-SNOWMOBILE-CARB-NEEDLE-FLOAT-JET-NOS_W0QQitemZ310016064791QQcm...

Is a #310 main jet safe for this sled running in Maine at 25 F along with the new ethanol gas? Could this be my problem?

86 seat repair?

I'm trying to salvage the seat on my 86. It is a 9 out of 10 but has a few small tears in the gold piping where it meets the gas tank. I would like to fix it or at least do something to it to keep it from worsening. Any suggestions?

After reading some posts in hear I'm beginning to wonder if it was a stuck thermostat. At no point did the guage move up towards the red. After the meltdown, one plug looked perfect and the pto side plug was kind of a dry grey. Does this sound like the problem?

My bad luck with these sleds continues!

Well, For 3 years now I've had an 83 that Ran ok but I could never seem to get it dialed in in the clutches no matter what I tried. Decided to pass it on and start over.

WTB: Gold Yamaha logo for windshield

Someone on this site sold me an 86 Vmax 540. After picking it up and traveleing home 3 hours I noticed something didn't look right. After looking over the photos that he showed to market the sled, I noticed that the original windshield with the factory YAMAHA logo had been removed prior to sale. Wel...
